What is Hoʻoponopono? What does it mean? Hoʻoponopono is a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and healing. It’s rooted in the power of the spoken word to restore connection and harmony within families, between individuals, and inside ourselves. This practice is centuries old, passed down through oral tradition, ceremony, and deep listening. I wanted to combine it with the healing power of the redwoods in Northern California. When to use it When you’ve been hurt. When you’ve caused harm. When your heart is heavy and the silence is loud. Speak it alone or with someone who has agreed to listen. It’s a sacred system of repair. A simple, powerful practice of forgiveness. Why use it? To clear what’s been held too long. To soften pain, dissolve blame, and return to love. To mend the unseen threads between us. This practice lives in vibration. Don’t just think the words... say them out loud. Feel how sound moves through you. Repeat it until something shifts. (And it will) Repeat it until your breath deepens. Repeat it until the edges soften.
